A Look At Our Lady Peace

Some music is an acquired taste, and I believe that such is the case with “Our Lady Peace”!  I think that the group is awesome. I thought they were destined for bigger things ten years ago, but they only grew to an adequate size.

My wife use to think that the lead singer kind of looked a little like Tom Cruise. I’m not sure if that affect their popularity or not. Afterall, the grunge looks and the way Tom Cruise looks doesn’t really mix all that well.

“Our Lady Grace” is a Canadian band (I didn’t know this until today).

The following 5 videos are some of my favorite of Our Lady Grace.

I just thought I’d give a taste of what I listened to growing up, and the fact that I went to a small get together with some friends that had me up too late to write something financially related material, especially after a few glasses of wine…

    Great band, I loved listening to them growing up and saw them live 3 times at different stages in their career. Awesome performance all 3 times.

    • lol, yes you are correct. Ironically, I got the SEO title correct, but the normal Title I had wrong.

      Thanks I’ll correct it (it seems when I post articles at 4:00am for some reasons my stuff just doesn’t come out as good). Maybe it was the “wine” typing 🙂

      I never went to any of their concerts… even though I would have loved to. It’s one of the small ways the being too frugal cost me a great experience opportunity…

    The one time I saw OLP live they were filming their DVD and played for over two hours. What a great concert.

  3. LOL I’m glad Echo corrected you, because I was going to get all Canadian and correct you too!

    I like Our Lady Peace. Raine (the lead singer) is married to Chantal Kravyazik (spelling?) and they seem like such amazing celebrities (use their fame to help others).

    I haven’t gotten the chance to see them live though.

    PS my quality of writing diminishes in the wee hours too! Exponentially by the minute 😉 Are you staying up late often to blog? 🙁

    • Yeah, I’ve been hard pressed for time lately. I’ve been slipping a bit, but hopefully I’ll get back in the swing of things.

      I actually have a few of “Our Lady Peace’s” cds. Just a moment of weakness…
